NLH CLINICAL COORDINATOR APPOINTED TO BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATORS

New London Hospital (NLH) is pleased to announce that Judy Cote, clinical coordinator for the Sports Medicine and Therapy Service department, was appointed by Governor Maggie Hassan to the Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.

A 35-year employee of NLH, Cote also serves as a member of the New Hampshire Falls Reduction Task Force and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. She is a former member of the Physical Therapy Advisory Committee to the Board of Medicine, prior to the development of the Allied Health Boards, and she was the first Physical Therapist Assistant to be appointed to the New Hampshire Physical Therapy Governing Board where she served two terms, from 1998 to 2004.

Cote has expertise in manual lymph drainage, compression garments, temporomandibular joint dysfunction and has led fall reduction projects at New London Hospital and Newport Health Center.
