Jennifer Sanderson, LNA for The William P. Clough Extended Care Center at New London Hospital was awarded a scholarship by the New Hampshire Long Term Care Foundation to pursue advanced education in long-term care. Sanderson was selected as a recipient for her dedication to providing compassionate care for the residents at the Clough Center.
The New Hampshire Long Term Care Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization that was established to promote the care and wellness of New Hampshire's elderly citizens through the educational development of long-term care providers and individual caregivers. Sanderson has been at the Clough Center for two years and has worked in long-term care for three years. She is currently enrolled at Horry Georgetown Technical College to attain an Associates Degree in Nursing and become a Registered Nurse (RN).
To be eligible for these scholarships, recipients must be employed by a skilled nursing facility, assisted living facility or other residential health care facility located in NH. The individuals chosen have demonstrated their commitment to long term care, their dedication to their career, and their desire to pursue a higher education.
